Updated for the season in a polyester cotton blend across the shell and lining, the Battenwear Travel Shell Parka has been inspired by classic mountain clothing with multiple pockets across the front and a fully adjustable hood. Branded snap buttons provide a secure protective closure on top of the full length two-way zip fastening and above the hood has been constructed in panels with a curved peak for reliable coverage and external leather pullcords. A variety of pockets have been added at the chest and waist to provide space to carry essential items, including three flap pockets with snap closures and a tilted welt compartment with a zip closure. Within the waist a cinch cord adjuster allows you to tighten or loosen the fit to suit and hidden internal pockets are available below. On the reverse of the jacket a subtle map pocket has been added and either sleeve has pleats to allow for movement and is complete with adjustable snap cuffs so you can resize the fit to suit.

As functional for a day’s hike as it is for evening drinks in the city, this jacket has become an old favourite and is updated, reworked and tweaked each season to ensure it remains that way. For AW21 this weather resistant edition mimics the look of a classic mountain range parka with vintage inspired detailing, authentic features and has a quick drying finish suited to light rainfall.
